Fitness has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My father was a power lifter and every night he would move the cars out of the garage to lift for hours. I remember the music and the sound of the weights rattling together. Although I grew up in an environment that stressed the importance of health and fitness – I did not start to taking strength training seriously until high school and that’s when I found CrossFit. I never really excelled in team sports so when I began to improve at CrossFit it motivated me to train harder. I’ve been doing CrossFit since 2010 and it’s been an amazing journey.
